Because without Paul, we do not get the teachings about how maturity brings the fruit of the Spirit, and without the fruit of the Spirit there is no true growth, and people’s love for Messiah grows cold.  In addition, once we throw out Paul, we have to throw out 2 Peter, and we have to throw out the book of Acts, written by Luke, and then that means we have to throw out the Gospel of Luke and I am just not prepared to do that!
